Spring 2026 Grant Awards Announced

We are pleased to announce the 39 recipients of our Spring 2026 round of funding. We received a record number of 438 applications, making it an exceptionally competitive round. The full list of people and projects we supported this Spring is now online.

Looking forward, we have streamlined both our Autumn and Spring grant offerings with the aim of making our programme more flexible and responsive, reflecting expansive definitions of British Art. Applications will open next for our Autumn round of funding on 3 August. Our new Research Project Grants will be open for applications, as will the Author Grants, Conservation Grants, Digitisation Grants, Event Support Grants and Exhibition Publication Grants. Please see the Grants and Funding Opportunities page for more information.
