Write on Art
Write on Art is a national writing programme that invites young people (13–19 years of age) to explore personal, creative and critical responses to art, and how they can be shared through writing.
At the bottom of this page, you’ll find four editable Write on Art PowerPoint presentations designed for educators to use in formal and informal learning environments, including schools, colleges, home education and alternative settings. These resources are flexible and can be adapted for classes, assemblies, workshops and independent learning.

A PowerPoint to help introduce students to the Write on Art competition

Three additional presentations focusing on each competition category - Creative Writing, Review Writing, and Essay Writing - and include activities and exercises to help young people choose an artwork and begin writing
All images included in the presentations are cleared for educational use.
Write on Art welcomes entries from young people across all educational settings.
