Emerging Researchers in British Art

Emerging Researchers in British Art (ERBA) is a peer-to-peer network connecting and supporting individuals hoping to establish themselves in the field of British art and architectural studies. ERBA is a new network, bringing together elements of the PMC’s Early Career Researchers and Doctoral Researchers Networks. This remodelled network is aimed at establishing a sense of community among new and emerging researchers in the field of British art, developing members’ skills and personal networks, and helping surface change and innovation in the field of British art studies, as defined by the researchers and practitioners who are doing the work now.

As part of ERBA, members will have access to vocational workshops (e.g. on publishing, copywriting and grants), as well as stimulating research roundtables, symposia and gallery/site visits. Members will also be able to apply for newly established Research Travel Bursaries, providing small pots of funding for research-related travel, such as visits to collections, exhibitions or archives.

To join the network, please fill out this form with your name, university or institution (where applicable), and a brief description of your research.
