Emily is responsible for providing editorial direction and management for the Paul Mellon Centre’s research publications and is in overall charge of the Centre’s print publications. In collaboration with the publications team, she is also involved in helping to shape the Centre’s broader publications strategy.
As a senior art editor with nearly twenty years of experience, Emily has designed and produced a wide range of books, from biographies and architectural guides to monographs and catalogues raisonnés. She is responsible for many of the Paul Mellon Centre’s most successful publications, including Mark Laird’s A Natural History of English Gardening, Elizabeth Goldring’s Nicholas Hilliard and Henrietta McBurney's Illuminating Natural History.
